Sting and Paul Simon concert in Oslo

Paul Federic Simon is an American singer and songwriter. His career started when the duo Simon and Garfunkel was formed in 1964 with his partner Art Garfunkel, he wrote most of the songs for the band.

Some of their most popular songs such as The Sound of Silence, Mrs Robinson and Bridge Over Troubled Water were ranked number one by the US singles charts. After the duo split up in 1970 Simon began his solo career as a singer, songwriter and guitarist and he released three albums over the next few years. Sting is an English musician, singer, songwriter, activist and actor. He was a former member of The Police and he got worldwide known with the band and with his solo career. He was the principle songwriter of The Police. During his career he was nominated and won several awards. He received 16 Grammy Awards and three Brit Awards and many others as well.

Paul Simon and Sting are on a world tour in 2014. The On Stage Together tour started in 2014 and they will visit several countries in the world. They will have concerts in North-America and in Europe as well. They will perform in multiple European countries such as Germany, Poland, Holland, Sweden and Norway. In Norway the concert will take place at the Oslo Spektrum. They will be on stage on Thursday 19th March 2015. Tickets for the concert are already available.

On March 18th it will be time for a Dixie Chicks concert in Oslo Spektrum. The popular band will visit the Norwegian capital, and if you want to be there at the concert it is still possible.

One of the most important men of pop music will give a concert in the capital of Norway, Oslo. Ladies and Gentlemen, we are talking about Bob Dylan and the date is 10 October 2013.

The singer was born as Robert Allen Zimmermann in 1941 in Duluth, Minnesota State. He was very young, when he became a music fan, he always listened blues and country radio stations. He founded several bands in high school. His music interest changed in the university, he left the rock and roll and listened American folk. He changed his name to Bob Dylan in these years, later he went to the Supreme Court in New York and he changed it officially. And then the 60s arrived and Dylan became a member of the Civil Rights Movement, his music showed the same. His next albums’ lyrics touched lots of political topics, sometimes these were pretty outrageous, but sometimes he wrote love songs too. His next album was a little bit surrealistic; he often changed the music styles and the topic of his songs.

He was the first artist who used electronic guitar in his band in front of the audience, which is one reason why he is now an important part of music history.

It is totally worth to visit Oslo to see Bob Dylan’s concert on this fall, because you could see a living legend. Have fun!

Only two days before Christmas Swedish House Mafia will come to Oslo Spektrum in Oslo to do a concert there. The band which consists of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso will probably return to their home country Sweden, where the band also was formed in 2008 in Stockholm, to celebrate Christmas after the Oslo concert. Safely into 2013 the band will go to South Africa and then to the USA before they finish their tour and then they have said that they will take a break for an uncertain amount of time.

Swedish House Mafia is an electronic music trio, so if you are in for a party with cool rhytms, dancing and lots of youth, then this is the concert. While in Oslo, do not forget to bring some warm clothes, because in December it can get freezing cold and it might be lots of snow around. On November 17th at 19.30 Chris Brown, the famous singer, musician, song-writer and dancer will enter the stage in Oslo Spektrum. The popular guy is out visiting some European cities in November and December this year, and in addition to Oslo Chris Brown will also visit Berlin, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Dortmund and maybe some more places in addition. If you are a fan of this guy born in 1989, now 23 years old, then you can buy tickets for the different Chris Brown concerts using the links further down on this page. Muse Oslo 2012Muse is coming to the capital of Norway in the start of December 2012. Muse is the famous British band formed in 1994 consisting of Matthew Bellamy, Christopher Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard. The concert venue for the Muse concert is the popular Oslo Spektrum, located in the heart of Oslo, only a few metres from the main train station in Oslo.

This concert will be arranged on June 9th, and it will start around 20.00 in the evening. Nicki Minaj, this singer from Trinidad and Tobago, will for sure fill Oslo Spektrum with 8000 people, making the venue packed and creating an amazing concert atmosphere.

This concert is a part of the tour celebrating the release of the new Nicki Minaj cd to be released in a couple of days, in April 2012. The first CD was named Pink Friday, and now Pink Friday is taken to a more romantic level with the new CD to be released. You will for sure be able to hear the best and most famous songs from Nicki Minaj on this Oslo concert, so if you are interested, do not miss out on this event.
